The School of Occupational Therapy, College of Medicine, National Taiwan University is inviting applications for full-time faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor or above. Candidates should have a background in occupational therapy and demonstrate the ability to contribute to the School’s educational and research excellence in areas related to occupational therapy in mental health or physical conditions.

※Qualification:
1.Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) or Sc.D. (Doctor of Science) in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
2.Clinical experience:
(1) At least two years or more of full-time or part-time clinical experience in occupational therapy for mental health or physical conditions (proof required) is preferred.
or
(2) Expertise in other specialized areas.
3.Holding an Occupational Therapist Certification issued by Ministry of Examination, Republic of China (Taiwan) or a valid Occupational Therapist License issued by Ministry of Health and Welfare, Republic of China (Taiwan).
4.At least one original research publication as the first author or corresponding author in an SCI or SSCI-indexed journal within the past five years. (e.g., applicants for mental health should have at least one original research paper published in the relevant field).

※Job Responsibilities:
1.Teach in the entry-level occupational therapy program and graduate programs (Master’s and Ph.D.).
2.Provide fieldwork teaching and clinical services at National Taiwan University Hospital.
3.Mentor and supervise undergraduate Honors Program students and graduate students (Master’s and Ph.D.).
4.Conduct research in occupational therapy related to mental health or physical conditions, and apply for government-funded research grants.

3.Copies of Ph.D. or Sc,D. diploma, proof of work experience, and Occupational Therapist Certification issued by Ministry of Examination, Republic of China (Taiwan), or Occupational Therapist License issued by Ministry of Health and Welfare, Republic of China (Taiwan).
4.Teaching and research plan. Please use the form provided by NTUCM: “Professional Development Statement for New Full-time Faculty” (新聘專任教師專業發展說明書).
5.Other supporting materials to strengthen your application.
6.Two recommendation letters. (The referees are preferably the applicants current or previous advisors at work or in academic research)
