About Candidate

Having decided to move to China from the UK in September 2024 to seek out a new life with new challenges, I am currently residing in Anshan, Liaoning with my wife and partner of 17 years, Yufen. I have a broad science and engineering background that culminated in Directorships of several companies in the UK. While my knowledge and skills base of several disciplines is OK, my spoken Mandarin is not and this I understand, may be a handicap when being considered for potential roles in China. I am however enjoying learning the Chinese language and fully immersed in the culture.

My career path has been somewhat unconventional but I remain eager to develop new knowledge and skills whilst simultaneously wishing to contribute my existing knowledge, experience, and skill sets to the support and development of others in my community. Both myself and my wife are willing to relocate for the right opportunity.
