Work & Experience
Developed a research project in the field of Nuclear Fusion. The project consisted in nuclear fusion systems studies based on machine learning.
In the frame of EUROfusion research project, I implemented and integrated a simplified 1D transport solver for the PROCESS systems code.
I participated in several international research projects associated with the European Atomic Energy's Broader Approach Agreement and the EUROfusion Programme for ITER and DEMO projects. Projects included: International Fusion Energy Research Centre (IFERC), Japan (2014-2015) Seconded to Japan for a 12-month placement as an International Expert. Joined 10 researchers to adapt the AINA safety code for Japanese DEMO design. Coordinated R&D activities, in the simulation of fusion safety studies. EuroFUSION Research Programme, Spain (2013 2015) Design and development of a safety code to study plasma wall transients in nuclear reactors. Research of safety studies of plasma instability events with this code.
