About Candidate
Multi-disciplinary engineer with expertise in Renewable Energy Systems, power engineering with a strong passion for developing sustainable design strategies for communities. Taking bold, decisive and definitive action to solve problems, adapt at networking and building strategic alliances by utilizing conventional, unconventional and creative approaches, developing and working in collaborative teams are my greatest strengths. Comprehensive knowledge of current research and trend in the field of Renewable Energy and sustainable development. My research skills have better significantly during her entire research journey. iam able to solve the engineering related problems independently and can lead and play a key role in a team. So i understood better to work with a team, what’s are their importance and how to work with them more efficiently. she is now able to discuss and share her ideas to other research members and also received suggestion and feedback from them.
Education
Raheela Jamal is author of 15 research articles in journals of the Journal Citation Reports of the Science Citation Index in the area of Engineering. According to Web of Science by Clarivate Analytics 277 total citations, H index: 10. According to Google Scholar: 366 total citations, H index: 11. According to ResearchGate: 361 total citations, H index: 10. According to Web of Science by Clarivate Analytics, his total verified peer reviews are 44. She completes her Postdoctoral (Control Science and Engineering) fellowship in North China Electric Power University, Beijing, China from Sept 2022-September 2024. Her Ph.D. dissertation was about “Research on stochastic wind power economic load dispatch based on different optimization methods” To study economic load dispatch problem considering valve point loading effect with stochastic wind power, the novel optimization technique of bio-inspired computational heuristic algorithm (BCHAs) hybrid with the active-set algorithm (ASA) is used. These BCHAs are developed through variants of genetic algorithms based on different set of routines for reproduction operators in order to make exploration and exploitation in the entire search space for finding the global optima, while the ASA is used for rapid local refinements of the results. In addition, to solve the optimal reactive dispatch problem the two novel optimization algorithms have been proposed and develop in the research such as grey wolf algorithm (GWO) and Shannon entropy based fractional particle swarm optimization gravitational search algorithm (FPSOGSA-Entropy). To alleviate the drawback of PSOGSA the fractional and Shannon entropy-based techniques are implemented into the algorithm which enhanced memory effect, stability and robustness of the algorithm. Her Research Focus on Renewable Energy Resources, Wind, Solar and Hydro Power Systems, Power Transmission, FACTS, Distribution Generators, Smart Grids Systems, Power Electronics, FACTS Devices, Stochastic ORPD and OPF solutions, Economic Load Dispatch, Hydro-thermal Scheduling, Energy Management, Energy Storage Systems in Microgrids, Electrical Vehicles, Modifying and Development of new intelligence Algorithms, Improvement and Development of existing Power System by new Methods and Techniques. The main scientific results during the overall research journey, are 15 published in prestigious journals. The 2 articles as a first author, while 5 articles as a co-author are submitted into different SCI journals for publication. Moreover, as a co-author one conference is submitted to the IEEE conference for publication. Her research skills have better significantly during her entire research journey. she is able to solve the engineering related problems independently and can lead and play a key role in a team. She understood better to work with a team, what’s are their importance and how to work with them more efficiently. she is now able to discuss and share her ideas to other research members and also received suggestion and feedback from them. she is searching the new idea and passionate about taking knowledge and keep learning. The overall research period also improves his working abilities and polish communication skills. Her research, working with team as well as time management skills are improved. However, she is also aware that he has many areas for improvement, and she will continue to strive to improve her abilities and performance to better contribute to science. Her research activities include optimization of power systems and integration renewable energy into utility grid, energy management, distribution networks, and EVs integration in industrial MG.
