Baoding University (保定学院, website) is a full-time general undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. The school is located in Baoding, Hebei Province, adjacent to the Xiong’an New District, with convenient transportation and beautiful environment, and has good geographical location advantages and economic and cultural conditions. Baoding University has a history of more than 100 years, and its predecessor was the “Baoding Junior Normal School” which was founded in 1904. In 1910 it was renamed “Zhili Second Junior Normal School”, and in 1928 it changed its name to “Hebei Provincial Second Normal School”. In 1978, the “Baoding Teachers College” was rebuilt, and in 2007 it was upgraded to an ordinary college at the undergraduate level, and was renamed “Baoding College”.
