Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication (北京印刷学院, website) is a full-time general institution of higher learning jointly established by the Beijing Municipal Government and the former State Administration of Press and Publication. Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication adheres to the development of characteristics and enhances core competitiveness with the construction of characteristic disciplines. The school currently has 12 first-level discipline master degree authorization points, 5 professional degree authorization points, 4 key construction disciplines in Beijing, and 2 high-tech disciplines in Beijing universities. The school has the National Green Printing and Packaging Industry Collaborative Innovation Base, Beijing Printing Electronic Engineering Technology Research Center, the National Digital Composite Publishing System Engineering Laboratory, the Beijing Key Laboratory of Digital Media Arts, and a Comprehensive Laboratory for Key Technology Application Research and Services in the Field of Press and Publication 11 provincial and ministerial key laboratories, including Beijing Key Laboratory of Signal and Information Processing for High-end Printing Equipment, Beijing Cultural Industry and Publishing Media Research Base. Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication vigorously promotes scientific research and implements science and technology innovation-driven projects. In the past 5 years, he has presided over 169 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, 284 commissioned projects, 457 horizontal scientific research projects, and accumulated scientific research funding of more than 300 million yuan. He has published 1200 search papers such as SCI, EI, ISTP, CSSCI, etc. He has published more than 500 books and textbooks, obtained more than 600 authorized patents, and received 18 provincial and ministerial scientific research awards. Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication strengthened the combination of industry, university and research, and established a scientific research platform covering the printing and publishing industry chain. Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication insists on opening schools and vigorously strengthens foreign exchanges and cooperation. The school has established intercollegiate cooperation and exchange relationships with more than 50 universities and scientific research institutions in more than 30 countries and regions, including the United States and Russia, and has signed agreements for undergraduate, graduate and joint undergraduate and postgraduate awards. In the past 5 years, more than 560 teachers and students have traveled to foreign (foreign) cooperative colleges to conduct study exchanges. In recent years, breakthroughs have been made in the education of international students in schools.
