Beijing Polytechnic College (北京工业职业技术学院, website) is located in Shijingshan District, Beijing. It is a general vocational school organized by the Beijing Municipal Government. The school was formerly known as the Beijing Coal Industry School, which was founded in 1956. It began to hold higher vocational education in 1994 and was officially reorganized into a vocational technical college in 1999. There are 501 faculty members in the school. Among the full-time teachers, senior titles account for 46%. Among them, there is one person for the “Ten Thousand People Program”, one special allowance from the State Council, one national teaching teacher, and two national excellent teaching teams; two Beijing Great Wall scholars, two high-tech teachers, 21 teaching teachers, and young top talents. 2 people, 51 young and middle-aged backbone teachers, 17 city-level innovation teams and teaching teams; 187 skilled artisans were hired as part-time teachers, and 16 foreign teachers such as the United States and Britain were employed.

Beijing Polytechnic College actively explores the reform of teaching methods and the reform of personnel training models, and carries out reforms such as Hugues mode teaching, pilots of modern apprenticeships, pilot projects of high-end technical skills, and naval officer classes.
