Beijing World Youth Academy was established in 2001 and approved by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission as a full-time school for Chinese and foreign students.
The school integrates advanced teaching concepts from China and abroad, and adopts the concept of “education for a better world”, using small class sizes to enhance students’ multicultural awareness, develop their comprehensive understanding and teamwork through a variety of activities inside and outside the classroom.
The school is a warm and harmonious international family with more than 500 students and teachers from more than 60 countries and regions around the world. Since its founding, more than 800 students have graduated from WYSIWYG and have gone on to attend prestigious international universities. Among them, more than 200 Chinese and foreign students have entered world-renowned universities such as Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, etc., and received scholarships; more than 400 foreign students have been admitted to famous Chinese universities such as Peking University, Tsinghua University and Renmin University.
