Chengdu Polytechnic (成都职业技术学院, website) is a full-time ordinary college hosted by the Chengdu Municipal People’s Government.It is a high-level professional group construction unit with Chinese characteristics, a national high-quality professional vocational college, a national (model) backbone vocational college, and a vocational college of the Ministry of Education Excellent level colleges for training and evaluation of work level, National Demonstration School for Deepening Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform, and Model Higher Vocational Colleges in Sichuan Province 2.The second batch of modern apprenticeship professional pilot units of the Ministry of Education is a national chess and card culture and education base, a national science and technology business incubator, a national computer and software technology training base, a national tourism vocational education school-enterprise demonstration base, and Sichuan tourism standardization. Chengdu Polytechnic is located in Chengdu, covering four campuses of high-tech, Huayuan, Qingyang, and Jinjiang. It covers an area of 530 acres and has 664 faculty members (including 184 professors and associate professors). The quality of “double teachers” accounts for more than 80% of full-time teachers. There are more than 500 guest professors and part-time teachers and more than 11,700 students. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 98%, and employment in Chengdu has reached over 80%. Some students are employed overseas.

Chengdu Polytechnic has 37 branches in 10 branches and departments, which are deeply integrated with industrial parks. It has 3 national productive training bases, 7 national backbone programs, and 2 modern apprenticeship pilot programs from the Ministry of Education. 3 teaching achievement awards, becoming the first batch of 1 + X certificate system pilot institutions of the Ministry of Education, establishing 108 courses at or above the college level, receiving 41 awards above the provincial level, and being selected as the first batch of national vocational education teacher teaching innovation team building units.
