Introduction to Fujian Business University

Fujian Business University (福建商学院, website) is located in Fuzhou City, a famous historical and cultural city. It is a provincial full-time undergraduate college organized by the People’s Government of Fujian Province. The origin of the school can be traced back to the “Fujian Government Business School” founded by Chen Baozhen, the emperor of the Qing Dynasty in 1906, and the “Fuzhou Youth League College” founded by the democratic revolutionary Huang Nai-shang, and later by Fujian Commercial College, Fujian Foreign Economic and Trade Vocational and Technical College. Adjustment and merger, officially established Fujian Business School in March 2016 with the approval of the Ministry of Education.

The university has three campuses, Drum Tower, Lianjiang and Mawei. It covers an area of more than 1,500 acres and has more than 13,000 full-time students. After more than 110 years of running a school, the school enjoys the reputation of “cradle of merchants” and “cradle of foreign trade” in the society. In 2018, together with four universities including Yangzhou University, it launched the first overseas overseas Chinese project, the Chinese Food Prosperity Base Alliance. Established the first eBay cross-border e-commerce college in the country. The university is professional and has distinctive features. The university gives full play to its location as an important birthplace of the “Maritime Silk Road” and the Fuzhou Free Trade Zone and its proximity to Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, and Southeast Asia. Based on the industrial industry, the school actively carries out extensive cooperation in running schools. Now it has cooperated with universities in Germany, Australia, Canada and other countries and Taiwan and Hong Kong to carry out cooperation projects, and cooperated with Taiwan Zhongyuan University, Jianguo University of Science and Technology, and Yuda University of Science and Technology.
