Gansu Iron and Steel Vocational Technical College (甘肃钢铁职业技术学院, website) is located in Jiayuguan City, Gansu Province, a steel city in western China. It was founded by Jiuquan Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. It is the only higher vocational college hosted by a company in Gansu Province. The Workers College was founded in 1978. In 1982, it was approved by the People’s Government of Gansu Province and filed by the Ministry of Education to become a three-year staff college. Gansu Iron and Steel Vocational Technical College has two campuses, Lanxin and Donghu. It covers an area of 570,000 square meters and currently uses a building area of 139,000 square meters.
