Guangdong Institute of Science and Technology (广东科学技术职业学院, website) is a full-time public general college approved by the Guangdong Provincial People’s Government in 1985 and filed by the Ministry of Education. At the beginning of the establishment of the college, the college was named Guangdong Academy of Science and Technology Cadre Continuing Education. It was mainly responsible for the continuing education and training of Guangdong science and technology management cadres. In 1989, it was renamed Guangdong Academy of Science and Technology Cadres.
