Guangdong University of Education (广东第二师范学院, website) was formerly known as Guangdong Educational Administration College, which was founded in 1955. In 1960, it was renamed Guangdong Education College. It was suspended in 1970, and the main body was decentralized to Xinxing County, Zhaoqing District. Zhaoqing Teachers School and Zhaoqing Teachers College were successively established. It was reopened in 1978, and was identified as a provincial adult normal university in 1982. In the same year, it began to organize adult normal undergraduate education. In 1985, it organized general college education. From 1990 to 2008, it held general undergraduate education. Approved by the Ministry of Education in 2010, it was restructured into an ordinary undergraduate college and renamed as Guangdong Second Normal College. It is an ordinary undergraduate college in Guangdong Province. Obtained the right to grant a bachelor’s degree in 2014. Passed the qualification assessment of undergraduate teaching work of the Ministry of Education in 2018.
Guangdong University of Education is located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. It has two campuses, Haizhu and Huadu, with a total area of 535 acres. It has 19 research institutes such as the Faculty of Education and 15 research institutions such as the Basic Education Research Center. 9 disciplines. Guangdong University of Education actively expands international cultural and educational exchanges and cooperation.
