Guilin Medical University (桂林医学院, website) is a general university directly under the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Guilin Medical University was founded in 1935. It was formerly known as the Guilin Senior Midwifery School in Guangxi Province. In 1958, the school was upgraded to Guilin Medical College.
