Guilin Normal College (桂林师范高等专科学校, website) was founded in 1938 as the Guilin Normal School of Guangxi Province. The school has a glorious revolutionary tradition, known as “the cradle of the North Guangxi Revolution”, and with its unique school running methods and achievements, it has become one of the four famous teachers who have outstanding achievements in running schools nationwide and have contributed greatly to the revolution. In 2000, approved by the Ministry of Education, Guilin Education College and Guilin Normal School merged to form Guilin Teachers College. Guilin Normal College currently has three campuses, Lingui, Xinyi, and Jiashan. The campus covers an area of 1085.1 acres, with a total building area of 514,000 square meters, including an area of 292,000 square meters for teaching and scientific research.
