Guizhou Education University (贵州师范学院, website), located in Wudang District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, is a provincial full-time general undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. The school’s predecessor was the Guizhou Institute of Education, founded in 1978. In 2009, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be converted into a full-time general undergraduate college.
