Hebei College of Science and Technology (河北科技学院, website) is located in Baoding, Hebei Province, a historical and cultural city adjacent to Xiong’an New District. The college was founded in 1991 and was approved by the Ministry of Education in 2011 to be upgraded to a full-time undergraduate college. In 2017, it was approved as a professional master’s degree authorized project construction unit.

Hebei College of Science and Technology covers an area of 917,400 square meters. The total building area of the school building is 352,200 square meters. The area of sports fields and facilities is 54,000 square meters. The total value of teaching and scientific research equipment is 10,613,900 yuan. The library holds 1.079 million books. Volumes, 1.25 million e-books, and 14,000 e-journals. The school has 9 teaching units including the School of Automotive Engineering, the School of Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering, the School of Economics and Management, the School of Architectural Engineering, the School of Art, the School of Nursing and Health, the Public Course, the Teaching Department of Ideological and Political Theory, and the Teaching Department of Physical Education. There are currently 28 undergraduate majors and 23 college admissions majors. Formed a discipline-major pattern of “engineering-oriented, multi-disciplinary development of engineering, management, economics, and art”. The school insists on opening the school, strives to improve the school’s international schooling level, and is always committed to building a communication platform for students to study abroad. It has established educational friendly cooperative relations with 18 institutions in 7 countries, including Europe and the United States.

Hebei College of Science and Technology currently has more than 700 teachers, of which “dual-teacher” teachers account for 27.4% of the total number of full-time teachers, teachers with senior titles account for 36.1% of full-time teachers, and teachers with a master’s degree or higher account for full-time teachers Up to 65.7%.

The college currently has 1 provincial key construction specialty, 1 provincial experimental teaching demonstration center, 8 experimental teaching centers, and 1 Hebei University Student Entrepreneurship Incubation Demonstration Park (Zhongchuang Space). In recent years, the college has won 4 provincial teaching achievement awards, undertaking 44 provincial-level projects and 117 department-level projects. Obtained nearly 20 national patents. Published 355 books and textbooks, and won more than 200 awards in various competitions in universities across the country.
