Hebei Normal University for Nationalities (河北民族师范学院, website) is located in the national historical and cultural city-Chengde City, Hebei Province. It has a history of more than 100 years. Colleges and universities are one of the first batch of pilot universities in Hebei Province. They are also the first batch of five national “industry-education integration innovation project” base schools. Base school; selected as data in 2016 China’s “100 School Project” production-education integration innovation project and China-US applied technology education “Double Hundred Plan” first batch of pilot universities.

Hebei Normal University for Nationalities is a predecessor of the Jehol Rapid School of Law and Politics, founded in 1907 by the Emperor Guangxu. During the period, it changed its name several times. In 1915, it was reorganized as Rehe Public Teachers School. In 1958, it was converted into Chengde Teachers College. In 1959, Tongzhou Teachers College moved to Chengde and merged with Teachers College. In 1960, it was upgraded to Chengde Teachers College. The State Council approved the restoration of Chengde Teachers College. In 1992, it was reorganized into Chengde Teachers College for Nationalities with the approval of the former State Education Commission. In March 2010, it was renamed as Hebei Teachers College for Nationalities with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
