Hebei University of Engineering (河北工程大学, website) is a key backbone university in Hebei Province. The Hebei Provincial People’s Government and the Ministry of Water Resources have jointly established universities. The Hebei Province National First-Class University is a two-tier university.

The new campus of Hebei University of Engineering covers a total area of 4,098 acres, with a construction area of 767,500 square meters. There are 2565 faculty members and 1770 full-time teachers. There were 2,427 doctoral and graduate students, 23,961 full-time undergraduates, and 156 foreign students. Hebei University of Engineering is the first batch of demonstration colleges for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education in Hebei Province. Qinglan Zhongchuang Space of Hebei University of Technology has been recognized by Hebei Province Science and Technology Department as a creation space, and has been awarded the Hebei University Student Entrepreneurship Incubation Demonstration Park.
