Introduction to Hunan Vocational College of Commerce

Founded in 1950, Hunan Vocational College of Commerce (湖南商务职业技术学院, website) is one of the earliest established business schools in New China. It is hosted by the Hunan Provincial People’s Government and headed by the Hunan Supply and Marketing Cooperative. After nearly 70 years of hard work, it has become a prominent business school , Hunan Province’s outstanding vocational colleges with distinctive industry characteristics, commercial circulation, tourism management, modern information and other professional groups infiltrating and coordinating.

Hunan Vocational College of Commerce has five secondary colleges including the School of Economics and Trade, the School of Accounting, the School of Tourism Management, the School of Business Information Technology, and the School of Electronic Commerce. 159 people, 12 experts from the State Council special allowances, 121 new century experts from Hunan Province, Hunan Xiang think tank experts and other leading talents (including flexible introduction talents), are exemplary universities in Hunan Province, Hunan Civilized Campus, National Supply and Marketing Cooperative Model Vocational and technical colleges, Ministry of Education, talent training work level evaluation Excellent vocational colleges, is the national supply and marketing system e-commerce training base, the national computer application and software technology skills shortage of talent training base, Hunan Province innovation and entrepreneurship demonstration base, Hunan Province universities Demonstration base for college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship, Tmall’s first new retail training base in China. In the past 5 years, students participated in provincial and national vocational college skills competitions and won more than 120 awards. In 2018, they won the first prize of provincial competition groups. In Hunan Province, the passing rate of students in the technical spot checks was 100%, and the passing rate in the provincial graduation design spot checks were above 95%, which is among the best in the province.
