Jiangsu Vocational College Agriculture and Forestry (江苏农林职业技术学院, website) was founded in 1923. With more than 90 years of historical heritage, the college has developed into a multi-disciplinary and comprehensive higher vocational technical college featuring agricultural-related majors, and has formed a school-based headquarters. The “One Master Two Wings” campus structure echoed by Jiangsu Tea Expo Park.

Jiangsu Vocational College Agriculture and Forestry is located in the urban area of Jurong, an excellent tourist city in the eastern suburbs of Nanjing. It covers an area of more than 6000 acres and a building area of 470,000 square meters. With more than 13,000 students, there are 8 colleges with 51 majors (directions), including the School of Food Science and Technology, the School of Economics and Humanities, the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the School of Information Engineering, and the School of Continuing Education.

Government-school-enterprise linkages and innovations in running schools and institutions. Jiangsu Vocational College Agriculture and Forestry adheres to the international orientation and promotes foreign exchanges and cooperation. In October 2015, a high-level Sino-French government agricultural exchange and cooperation project, the Sino-French Farmer Training Center, settled in the college. At the same time, relying on Jiangsu Agricultural Expo Garden, a Sino-French modern agricultural science and technology demonstration park was established. In cooperation with Kenya’s Egerton University, jointly build a China-Africa modern agricultural science and technology demonstration park. Started a school project with the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. Held various long-term and short-term training courses including Confucius Institute Student Training Course at Kenya University of Egton, Indonesia Biochemistry Middle School Teacher Training Course, Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Training Course for Developing Countries, and trained more than 300 trainees. Enrolled more than 70 full-time international students. It has established friendly cooperative relations with more than 20 schools and educational institutions in many countries and regions, including the United States, France, Japan, and Brazil. In 2016, the college was awarded the “National Top 50 Colleges with International Influence”.

The employment rate of graduates of Jiangsu Vocational College Agriculture and Forestry has always remained above 98%.
