Jiaozuo Normal College (焦作师范高等专科学校, website) originated from the “Huaiqing Normal School” in 1907. In March 2002, it was approved as the Jiaozuo Teachers College by the Ministry of Education on the basis of the original Jiaozuo Education College, Jiaozuo Normal School, and Qinyang Normal School.
