Introduction to Jiaozuo University

Jiaozuo University (焦作大学, website) is a comprehensive university that is administrated by the People’s Government of Jiaozuo City and approved by the People’s Government of Henan Province. The university is located in Jiaozuo, an excellent Chinese landscape tourism city in the northwest of Henan. With its elegant environment and convenient transportation, it is an ideal place for university students to study.

The university was founded in 1981. At present, there are more than 24,000 students at all levels. Among them, there are more than 13,000 full-time college students. There are 881 faculty members, including 187 teachers with senior professional and technical positions, 9 doctors and 356 masters. The school has two campuses, north and south, with a campus area of 1708 acres and a building area of 435,000 square meters. The total value of the school’s teaching equipment is nearly 100 million yuan, and the library has 1.03 million volumes.

Jiaozuo University has 15 colleges, offering 58 majors such as equipment manufacturing, applied chemical technology, computer application technology, civil construction, finance and commerce, and cultural tourism. School of Foreign Languages

There are three teaching and research offices under the Jiaozuo University School of Foreign Languages: Business English Teaching and Research Office, Applied English Tai Chi Teaching and Research Office and University English Teaching and Research Office.
