Lanzhou Institute of Technology (兰州工业学院, website) is a full-time general undergraduate college affiliated to Gansu Province. The school’s predecessor was the Peili Institute of Technology established by New Zealand’s international friend Louis Alley in 1942. It was converted into a Gansu Provincial Machinery Manufacturing School in 1958 to host secondary professional education.
