Lianyungang Normal College (连云港师范高等专科学校, website) is a full-time ordinary higher school established in March 2000 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. It was formed by the merger of the former Lianyungang Education College, Haizhou Normal School and Lianyungang Normal School. The Lianyungang Economic Management Cadre School was established in 2002 Incorporated. In 2011, it cooperated with Jiangsu Normal University to establish the Lianyungang Campus of Jiangsu Normal University. The former Haizhou Normal School was the highest school and cradle of teachers in the “Haigan Yiguan” area.
