Lianyungang Technical College (连云港职业技术学院, website) was established in March 1983 with the approval of the Ministry of Education; in March 1999, Lianyungang Vocational University merged with Lianyungang Vocational Education Center and was renamed Lianyungang Vocational Technical College.

Lianyungang Technical College is located at the junction of the “Belt and Road”, the node city of the New Asia-Europe Continental Bridge Economic Corridor, the Sino-Kazakh logistics transit base, and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s maritime base, Lianyungang. Entered the new campus in September 2008, covering an area of 1150 acres and a building area of 330,000 square meters. There are more than 500 faculty members and nearly 10,000 full-time students. The school consists of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the School of Medicine and Chemical Engineering, the School of Public Management, the School of Business, the School of Information Engineering, the School of Arts and Tourism, the School of Architectural Engineering, the School of Foreign Languages (College of International Exchange and Cooperation), the School of Continuing Education, Basic Courses, and Political Teaching There are 11 teaching units in 2 teaching departments including 9 secondary colleges. Cooperated with Nanjing University, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Nanjing University of Technology and other well-known universities to build the Lianyungang University Science and Technology Park; established close exchanges and cooperation with many foreign universities. From 1999 to the present, our students have exchanged and studied with 318 students at Mokpo Industrial College, South Korea ’s Mokpo Technical University, and South Korea ’s Huxi University. South Korean Moppo Industrial High School and South Korea ’s Mokpo Technical University have exchanged 189 students to our school. , France, Mongolia, Russia, and Central Asian countries have 28 students studying at our school at their own expense, a total of 535 students. At present, six international students from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan are studying at our school.
