Introduction to Luoding Polytechnic
Established in May 2001, Luoding Polytechnic (罗定职业技术学院, website) is a public full-time ordinary college that was filed by the Ministry of Education, approved by the Guangdong Provincial People’s Government, and hosted by the Yunfu City People’s Government. The school is located in the urban area of Luoding, under the jurisdiction of Yunfu City, Guangdong Province. It has set up a national vocational skills appraisal office, established a cloud computing big data talent training base in Yunfu City, Yunfu City Electronic Information Industry Technology Service Center and Yunfu Nanjiang Culture Research Center. “Luoding Vocational and Technical College Discussion Series” (Quarterly) is an advanced unit of Guangdong language work, a demonstration base for social science popularization in Guangdong Province, a training demonstration base for SMEs in Guangdong Province, and a civilized unit in Yunfu City.
Luoding Polytechnic has 8 teaching departments including the Education Department, Foreign Languages Department, Arts and Sports Department, Economic Management Department, Electronic Information Department, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Department, Ideological and Political Theory Teaching Department (Marxist College), and Continuing Education Department. Manufacturing, electronic information, finance and commerce, culture and arts, tourism, education and sports, public management and service, a total of 42 majors, including 2 majors in the central financial support service industry, 2 provincial key majors, provincial level There are 4 public training centers, 12 training bases above the provincial level, and 4 provincial-level quality resource sharing and open courses. At present, there are more than 10,700 full-time students, and students can concurrently take dozens of postgraduate self-study (correspondence) communication classes offered by Sun Yat-sen University, South China University of Technology, South China Normal University, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Guangdong University of Finance and Economics. For any one of the majors, you can obtain the undergraduate certificate of the chosen college after completing the required credits.
Since its inception, Luoding Polytechnic has followed the rules of higher vocational education, continuously deepened school-enterprise cooperation, and integration of production and education. Collaborating in cultivating friendly and cooperative relationships, a large number of innovative technical skills have been cultivated.
