Introduction to Moutai Institute
Moutai Institute (茅台学院, website) is located in Renhuai City, Guizhou Province. It is a full-time general undergraduate university set up by the Ministry of Education of China on May 23, 2017. The school focuses on full-time applied general undergraduate education and develops graduate education in a timely manner. It is the first non-profit undergraduate college in China that cultivates applied talents around the brewing industry chain.
The college is located in the beautiful southern city of Renhuai, Guizhou Province, covering an area of 1076.2 acres. The planned building area of the campus is 346,000 M2. The school building has been completed at 243,300 M2. Multimedia equipment); on the basis of the existing 250,000 books and 7900 electronic books, the bidding for 150,000 books has been completed and has now entered the purchase link; 2 experimental teaching centers, internship training base group company 22, 12 outside the group company, the college is actively promoting the construction of academician workstations, master studios.
Moutai Institute takes brewing engineering as its core specialty, and has gradually formed a discipline and professional system focusing on engineering and multi-disciplinary coordinated development. Currently there are 7 teaching departments including the Department of Wine Engineering, the Department of Food Science and Engineering, the Department of Resources and Environment, the Department of Automation of Wine Engineering, the Department of Business Administration, and the Department of Tourism Management, covering wine engineering, grape and wine engineering, food quality and safety, There are 12 undergraduate majors in resource recycling science and engineering, marketing, automation, e-commerce, hotel management, environmental science and engineering, packaging engineering, food science and engineering and logistics management. There are currently 1749 undergraduate students, and in 2000 it will recruit 2,000 students nationwide.
The Moutai Institute has a highly educated and highly qualified teaching team; it has proposed a “three-thirds” of teacher-building measures, that is, one-third of the school ’s main teaching team is adopted in the process of teacher-building. One third of external part-time teachers and one third of specially-appointed experts and scholars; 37 outstanding experts and scholars at home and abroad and academic top talents such as academicians and Changjiang scholars have been invited as the college’s specially-appointed professors.
The college cooperates closely with the national technology center-Moutai Group Technology Center to share resources and establish and improve a scientifically structured research team with academic and academic leaders as the core; continuously strengthen research awareness, increase research funding, and improve research incentives , To create a good scientific research environment, enhance scientific research strength, and enhance scientific research level.
