Putian University (莆田学院, website) is located in the southeast coast of Fujian, the hometown of the “Goddess of Peace” in the sea, and the famous hometown of overseas Chinese, Putian City. It is a full-time undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education in March 2002. It is led and managed by the Fujian Provincial Government and implements the provinces and cities.
