Qujing Normal University has a rich history and culture. The school’s history can be traced back to the “Normal Teacher Training Institute” opened in 1907. In 1912, the Yunnan Provincial Third Normal School was established. In 1956, it was renamed Qujing Normal School. In 1977, it enrolled the Kunjing Normal University Qujing General (Undergraduate) class, 1978. Qujing Teachers College (renamed Qujing Teachers College in 1993) was established in 1984, and Qujing Education College was established in 1984.
