Shaanxi Vocational and Technical College (陕西职业技术学院, website) is a full-time public general college. According to the approval of the provincial government, Xi’an Foreign Trade Workers College (Shaanxi Institute of Foreign Trade) was merged into the college in December 2016.

The college is located in the ancient city of Xi’an, with two campuses, Chang’an and Bailuyuan, covering an area of 977.05 acres and a building area of 342,000 square meters. There are more than 12,000 students. There are new business academies (Xindao College), School of Architecture and Engineering, School of Tourism and Culture (Bailucang International Tourism Business School), School of Electronic Information Engineering (Dingli College), School of Automotive Engineering and General Aviation (Bosch Automotive College, Jingdong GM) School of Aviation), School of Foreign Trade (College of Continuing Education), Department of Management (College of International Cooperation and Exchange), School of Preschool Education, School of Art Ministry of Education, Shaanxi Vocational Education (Applied Technology) Research Institute, Ukraine Research Center and other teaching and research units. The college currently has 54 majors, of which 2 are centrally financed to support the key construction majors of “higher vocational schools to enhance professional service industry development capabilities”, 4 key national key construction majors, 10 key majors in Shaanxi Province, and 14 majors selected in Shaanxi Province “First-class majors” and the “backbone majors” construction project of the Ministry of Education, six majors were selected as the pilot projects for comprehensive reform of higher vocational colleges in Shaanxi Province, and two pilot colleges and departments of innovation and entrepreneurship education in Shaanxi province.

The college has established a high-quality “dual-teacher” teacher team with a well-structured, professional and combined structure consisting of provincial-level teaching teachers and technical backbones of industry enterprises as the professional leaders, and mainly with doctoral and graduate students. There are more than 800 faculty and staff, including 7 provincial-level teaching teachers and 2 provincial-level teaching teams. The quality ratio of professional teachers is 92%.

Shaanxi Vocational and Technical College has built more than 10 campus simulation training bases that integrate “teaching, training, training, and service”, and has opened 27 order classes. There are 227 professional training rooms of various types in the school, including 5 training base construction projects supported by the central finance, 6 demonstration training base construction projects of higher vocational education supported by the provincial finance, and external training bases.
