Shanghai Singapore International School (SSIS) offers a consistent curriculum from Kindergarten to Grade 12 for children aged 2 to 18 years old from expatriate families in Shanghai. SSIS is committed to developing students into intelligent, confident, independent and well-rounded global citizens in a caring environment.
SSIS was founded in September 1996. It is a school for expatriate children from Nursery to Senior Secondary levels. The school offers an international school curriculum based on the Singapore Early Childhood and Primary Education Curriculum, which integrates the best experiences of other countries in the world, and focuses on the integration of the best of Eastern and Western cultures to nurture useful talents for the 21st century. The school has an excellent and highly qualified team of teachers, mainly from Singapore, as well as European, American and Chinese teachers. Our students come from over 30 countries and regions around the world, mainly from Asia, with a total of over 1,400 students.
