Shanghai University of Electric Power (上海电力大学, website) is a full-time general institution of higher learning co-constructed by the central government and Shanghai, focusing on Shanghai management. The school was founded in 1951, was upgraded to undergraduate in January 1985, and was renamed Shanghai Electric Power University. Shanghai University of Electric Power was founded in 1951. It has long been affiliated with the management of the national power department. In 2000, it was localized.
