Shanxi Architectural College (山西建筑职业技术学院, website) is a public full-time higher education institution and a national model backbone vocational college. It is affiliated to the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Shanxi Province. The college’s predecessor was the Shanxi Civil Engineering School, founded in 1952. In 1954, the school was renamed Shanxi Construction Engineering School. In 2001, with the approval of the Shanxi Provincial People’s Government, the school was upgraded to Shanxi Vocational College of Architecture.
