Shenyang Polytechnic College (沈阳职业技术学院, website) is located in Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning Province, with more than 16,000 teachers and students.

Shenyang Polytechnic College is a national model higher vocational college, the first batch of modern apprenticeship pilot colleges of the Ministry of Education, a national professional specialty demonstration of equipment manufacturing, a chairman unit of Liaoning Equipment Manufacturing Vocational Education Group, an advanced unit of Liaoning Vocational Education, Civilized units in Liaoning Province, outstanding units in the evaluation of talent training levels in Liaoning Province, advanced units in employment work for college graduates in Liaoning Province.

The college has excellent school running conditions and a beautiful and harmonious campus environment. The fertile soil where the students gathered has a total area of 609 acres, a building area of 266,000 square meters, a main campus area of 528 acres, a building area of 218,000 square meters, a gym building area of 5,352 square meters, and 168 training rooms. The construction area is 62,000 square meters. Shenyang Vocational and Technical College has two national high-skilled talent training bases, six central and provincial financial support training bases, and is a training base for teachers and principals of Liaoning vocational colleges. Shenyang Polytechnic College has a full range of majors and a superb team of teachers. The college covers 63 majors in ten major categories in the secondary and tertiary industries. The college has 6 national key construction majors for demonstration projects and enhancement of professional service industry development capabilities, 2 national machinery demonstration majors, 1 Ministry of Education instrument equipment standard demonstration major, and 2 national machinery industry specialty majors. There are 20 provincial brand (demonstration) and education reform pilot programs, and 24 national and provincial excellent courses. The College currently has 707 full-time teachers, 44 professors, 198 senior professional and technical personnel such as associate professors, and 385 teachers with master’s degrees or above, accounting for 54.46% of the total number of teachers. The college has 9 provincial-level outstanding teaching teams, 8 provincial-level professional leaders, 3 provincial-level teaching teachers, 10 provincial-level outstanding young backbone teachers, and 23 provincial-level teaching achievement awards. Teachers and students of the college have won more than 300 national and provincial skills competition awards, including 2 first prizes, 12 second prizes, 20 third prizes, and 64 first prizes in provincial skills competitions.
