Shijiazhuang University of Applied Technology (石家庄职业技术学院, formerly Shijiazhuang University, website) was established in 1984. It is a full-time general college approved by the Ministry of Education and sponsored by the Shijiazhuang Municipal Government. It is a national high-quality vocational college construction project establishment unit, a national modern apprenticeship pilot college, a national top 50 vocational college, and a national five-star vocational college.

After more than 30 years of construction, Shijiazhuang University of Applied Technology has developed into a school-running pattern with full-time higher vocational education as the main body, radio and television education (open education), and community education as the “two wings”.
