Springboard International Bilingual School was founded in 2000 and is dedicated to providing a multicultural learning environment for students from kindergarten to high school, with a quality bilingual education that integrates the East and the West. The school brings together foreign teachers with diverse cultural backgrounds and international teaching experience to introduce the original American curriculum and adopt a synchronized and homogeneous teaching model. The school also provides an advanced reading system and a complete achievement assessment system, and uses small classes to give students full attention and ensure the quality of individualized education, focusing on developing students’ independent thinking skills, creativity, problem-solving abilities and adaptability.
The school has the qualifications approved by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission for recruiting foreign students and employing foreign cultural and educational experts, and was first established in Dongzhimen and later moved to Shunyi District.
The school is a private international bilingual school. The school accepts students of all nationalities, both Chinese and foreign, and is open to all nationalities. The current teaching system at Jun Cheng is the U.S. public curriculum, which is the Chinese equivalent of the R.E.C. version of the textbook, and is a common educational system throughout the country.
The school has a small class size of 80% of Beijing students, and began planning for a high school in 2015, with enrollment starting in 2016.
