Taishan Polytechnic (泰山职业技术学院, website) is a full-time general college hosted by the People’s Government of Tai’an City. The college has always adhered to the school’s philosophy of “establishing schools with high quality, promoting schools with characteristics, strengthening schools with talents, and culturally plastic schools”, and insisted on the development road of “industry-education integration, school-enterprise cooperation”. In 2016, the college successfully passed the checklist of Shandong Higher Education’s characteristic name and obtained an excellent grade. It was successfully selected as a national pilot school for diagnosis and improvement of teaching work, and became a pilot college for orientation training of non-commissioned officials. The first public training center of Tai’an City, Tai’an University of Business Settled in college.

The college is located at the foot of Mount Tai, which is the world’s double heritage of nature and culture. It is backed by the Taishan Tourist Avenue, Huanshan Road, and is adjacent to Fangte Happy World and Feng Chan Grand Dian Tourism Area. Yishanbangcheng, convenient transportation. Taishan Polytechnic covers an area of 655,000 square meters, a construction area of 258,000 square meters, and fixed assets of 380 million yuan. There are 98 experimental training rooms including computer rooms, CNC machine tools, CAD, CAM, PLC, single-chip computers, and jade carving processing centers. There are 3 training bases supported by the central government, 210 off-campus training practice bases, 13 “school-in-factory”, “factory-in-school”, and 17 training classes. The college actively carries out international exchanges and cooperation, continuously expands the international school running space, and signs cooperation school running agreements with Australia, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan and other countries or regions. Cooperated with Australia in running two majors since 2014. Since September 2014, the college has selected outstanding students every semester to study and exchange at Kunshan University of Science and Technology in Taiwan. In September 2016, it sent overseas students to study at Sparton University in Thailand.
