Tongda College of Nanjing University (南京邮电大学通达学院, website) of Posts and Telecommunications is an independent full-time undergraduate college founded by the State University of Posts and Telecommunications in 1999 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. The college implements the dean responsibility system under the leadership of the council.
Since its inception, the college has always been based on the development of high-tech industries, relying on Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications’ strong teaching resources, significant academic advantages and rigorous teaching management, maintaining a close and stable cooperative relationship with the communications and information industry, and successfully training a number of information industries. In 2012, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications cooperated with the Yangzhou Municipal People’s Government to build a new campus in Yangzhou. The new campus is located in Yangzijin Science and Education Park, a university town on the Yangtze River in Yangzhou City, covering an area of 893 acres. The campus teaching area, experimental area, sports area, office area, living area and other areas are planned scientifically, with reasonable layout, quaint architecture, and beautiful scenery. Tongda College of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications now has 551 teachers. Tongda College of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications strengthens cooperation and exchanges with internationally renowned universities.
