Tongren Polytechnic College (铜仁职业技术学院, website) is a public full-time general higher vocational college established in June 2002 with the approval of the People’s Government of Guizhou Province. It covers an area of 1411 acres. National backbone higher vocational colleges, secondary vocational national demonstration schools, “provincial and ministry co-construction” colleges (the National Civil Affairs Commission and the People’s Government of Guizhou Province), national high-quality vocational colleges, and national “double high plan” project construction units.
The college currently has 21,432 full-time students (including 16,030 senior vocational students, 5,037 secondary vocational students, and 365 international students). The students come from 23 provinces and municipalities, as well as Russia, Laos, Indonesia, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Cameroon, Rwanda, Kenya, Morocco, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Zimbabwe and other 23 countries.
