Wanbo Institute of Science and Technology (万博科技职业学院, website) is a full-time general university approved by the People’s Government of Anhui Province and approved by the Ministry of Education for the whole country. The school is located in Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province. It has two campuses, the headquarters campus and the Xinqiao campus, with convenient transportation and superior environment. It covers an area of nearly 800 acres and a total construction area of over 580,000 square meters. A new pattern of “one school and two districts” will gradually be formed. After the completion of Xinqiao Campus, it can accommodate over 20,000 students, laying a solid foundation for the school to be upgraded to an ordinary university at the undergraduate level.

Wanbo Institute of Science and Technology, in the course of running a school, adheres to a broad-minded, international perspective, and has opened up a unique road to running schools, and has achieved fruitful results. In December 2005, the first company in Anhui that passed the “Evaluation of Talents Training in Higher Vocational Colleges” and achieved “excellent” results; in 2008, Singapore Raffles Education Group invested and the school introduced international education resources; 2012 In December 2013, it was approved to be one of the pilot universities for autonomous enrollment reform in Anhui Province. In March 2013, with the approval of the Anhui Provincial Department of Education, it officially launched a Chinese-foreign cooperative school project with Raffles College of Higher Education in Singapore. Construction of the Bridge Campus has begun, and the new pattern of “one school and two districts” is gradually maturing.

The Wanbo Institute of Science and Technology has teaching units such as the School of Intelligent Information, the School of Transportation Engineering, the School of International Business, the School of Arts and Media, the School of Music Education, the Ministry of Basic Education, the Teaching Supervision Office, the Ministry of Continuing Education, and Sino-foreign cooperative education programs. Disciplines and management mainly focus on economics, management, science and engineering, education, culture, arts and other disciplines and professional systems that are infiltrated and coordinated, covering 51 national plans to recruit professionally. Now it has more than 5,000 students of various types, 38 teaching laboratories, 26 internship training bases, and 805,000 paper and electronic books in the library. It continuously adjusts and optimizes the professional structure, broadens the professional caliber, and deepens the construction of the specialty of chemistry.
