Wenzhou Vocational College of Science and Technology (温州科技职业学院, website) was officially established in February 2008 with the approval of the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province. Its predecessors were the Wenzhou Agricultural Technology School of Zhejiang Province, which was founded in 1950, and the Agricultural Science Research Institute of Wenzhou Prefecture, which was established in 1958.

The school covers an area of more than 1700 acres (including 1030 acres of Wenzhou Seeds and Seedlings Science and Technology Park), with a building area of 233,000 square meters.
