Introduction to Xi’an Urban Architectural College
Established in 1993, Xi’an Urban Architectural College (西安城市建设职业学院, website) is a full-time institution of higher learning approved by the People’s Government of Shaanxi Province and registered by the Ministry of Education with the qualification to independently award diplomas. The college adheres to the school-oriented philosophy of “people-oriented, distinctive school development, teaching-oriented, quality first”, focusing on the construction of an application-oriented talent training system for urban construction functional groups, and promoting development through reform. Significant achievements have been made in business cooperation and running schools with special characteristics. It has successively achieved in-depth school-enterprise cooperation and resource sharing with domestic and foreign institutions, and formed a talent training and delivery model of “professional and industrial docking, curriculum and vocational standard docking, and classroom and practice base docking”. Urban construction students have passed high-quality theories in the school Educational system resources and corporate resident executives train students to have first-class professional literacy; paramilitary management creates students with excellent quality and makes our college graduates extremely competitive in future careers.

Xi’an Urban Architectural College consists of eight secondary colleges, including the School of Architectural Engineering, the School of Economics and Management, the School of Transportation and Tourism, the School of Mechanical and Electrical Information, the School of Urban Media Arts, the School of Continuing Education, the Qinfeng International College, and the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, with 50 openings. There are more than 13,000 students in more than one major.
The college is located in the campus of the southern suburbs of Xi’an, adjacent to the new campuses of Northwestern Polytechnical University and Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology, covering an area of more than 530 acres and a building area of 250,000 square meters. The campus has a beautiful environment, complete facilities and complete functions. The college has a digital library, a standardized sports ground, a physical training center, a catering center, a supermarket, a hospital, a bank, logistics, etc., with facilities for teaching, training and living services.
