Zhengzhou Shengda University of Economics Business and Management (郑州升达经贸管理学院, website) was founded in 1993. In April 2011, approved by the Ministry of Education, it was converted into an independent private undergraduate college.
Zhengzhou Shengda University of Economics Business and Management currently has 10 colleges of finance and trade, accounting, management, commerce, information engineering, foreign languages, grammar, arts, construction engineering, physical education and the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education, and two departments of ideology and politics. Established 39 undergraduate programs. There are 24,519 full-time students, including 20105 undergraduates. Formed a basic pattern of economics, management, and multidisciplinary development of engineering, literature, art, education, and law. It has 5 pilot projects for comprehensive reform of Henan Province, 9 brand professional construction sites in Henan Province, and Henan. Zhengzhou Shengda University of Economics Business and Management currently has 1,245 full-time teachers, including 790 full-time teachers. Zhengzhou Shengda University of Economics Business and Management currently has two campuses, Longhu and Dengfeng. The campus covers an area of 2203 acres, with a construction area of 547,400 square meters, teaching and administrative buildings of 244,400 square meters, student dormitories of 205,600 square meters, and teaching equipment. The total value is 115 million yuan. There are 16 experimental teaching centers including civil architecture, language integration, and pre-school education. The economic management experimental teaching center is the largest comprehensive training center in economics and management in the province. The Ministry of Education has one “scientific work ability training demonstration base”, two provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers, and one municipal key laboratory. A total of 2.35 million copies of paper books were awarded the National Award on two occasions and the “Advanced Reading Unit for the Whole People” twice in the province. In 2015, it was awarded the “National Reading Demonstration Base”, the highest honor awarded by the Chinese Library Association. The campus network coverage rate is 100%, and it is “the construction unit of the digital campus demonstration project in Henan higher education institutions”.
Zhengzhou Shengda University of Economics Business and Management has presided over 177 education reform projects at all levels in recent years, published 545 dissertations, compiled 285 textbooks, built 52 excellent courses and online courses, and formulated a training plan for “integration of learning and creativity” The core curriculum of the “Three Excellents” specialty has been implemented, and the practice teaching of “hierarchical and system-oriented” has been strengthened. The Student Entrepreneurship Incubation Project has been supported by Henan province’s undergraduate entrepreneurship system construction guidance funds for 4 consecutive years, incubating 42 student entrepreneurship projects. In 2016, the school won the “National Private Education Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Culture Construction Award”.
Zhengzhou Shengda University of Economics Business and Management has established cooperative relations with 18 universities in the United States, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia and other countries. In the past three years, the average initial employment rate of fresh graduates was 91.81%, which was 10 percentage points higher than the average employment rate of Henan Province. China Education Daily, People’s Daily, China Daily and other media have repeatedly reported on the school’s school running philosophy and school running experience.
