Zhongshan Vocational College (钟山职业技术学院, website) is located in Nanjing, an ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, a historical and cultural city. It is a full-time, privately-run university approved by the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province and registered by the Ministry of Education. In the past 20 years, the college has successively obtained “Advanced Organizations in Jiangsu Province, Basic-level Party Organizations”, “Excellent Test Sites in Jiangsu Province for National College English Application Ability Examination”, “Advanced Collectives for Graduate Employment Work in Jiangsu Province”, and “Safe Campus in Jiangsu Province” , “Jiangsu Province is the first to strive for the priority to enter the collective”, “Jiangsu May Day Labor Award”, “advanced units in general college recruitment” and other honorary titles. Zhongshan Vocational College covers an area of more than 540 acres and a building area of more than 200,000 square meters. The college has obvious geographical advantages. It is located in the national 5A-level Zhongshan Mausoleum Scenic Spot with beautiful scenery in the eastern suburbs of Nanjing, and the transportation is very convenient. Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, Nanjing Erqiao Expressway, Nanjing-Hangzhou National Highway and Nanjing Bypass Highway intersect here. Metro Line 2 and multiple bus lines arrive at the “Zhongshan College” Station.

In September 2015, Xinhua Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (Forbes Global 500) formally acquired shares, and our school became a school with independent investors as the main body, state-owned capital as the main body, mixed ownership, and schools run by private institutions. In September 2016, the State Investment Corporation and the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province signed a strategic agreement to jointly build Zhongshan Vocational and Technical College, which will establish further close cooperative relations. The entry of state-owned capital not only enhances the college’s school strength, but also provides greater policy benefits to the college in terms of school conditions, professional construction, and student employment.

According to the social needs and serving the local economy, the college has established a professional structure with major health as the mainstay and multi-professional coordinated development. Focus on building six major professional groups such as rehabilitation and nursing, management of aging business, finance and commerce, electromechanical technology, construction engineering, arts and media, and open nearly 40 categories covering 7 categories including science, engineering, literature, economics, management, medicine, and art Professional (including directions). The accounting and auditing specialty is a specialty of Jiangsu Province, and the group of finance and business majors is a key construction site of colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province; the major of nursing and rehabilitation technology is the first private higher vocational college approved by the Provincial Education Department and the former Health Department School medical majors; senior services and management majors have distinctive characteristics, and social reputation has been increasing year by year.

The college has more than 400 full-time and part-time teachers, of which more than 1/3 are teachers with senior titles, 72% are full-time young teachers under the age of 45 with a master’s degree or a master’s degree, and 75% are “double-teacher” teachers.
