Introduction to Zunyi Vocational and Technical College

Zunyi Vocational and Technical College (遵义职业技术学院, website) was formed by the merger of the former Zunyi Agricultural School, Zunyi Finance and Trade School, Zunyi Agricultural Mechanization School, Zunyi Commercial Technical School, and Zunyi Agricultural Machinery Research Institute. It was approved by the people of Guizhou Province on August 10, 2001 Approved by the government (filed by the Ministry of Education), it was formally established on April 18, 2002. It is a public full-time comprehensive general vocational college that integrates agriculture, commerce, science, engineering, and literature. It is divided into east and west campuses. The east campus of the headquarters is located in Zunyi University Town, and the west campus is close to the famous “Zunyi Conference Site”.

The new campus of Zunyi Vocational and Technical College is located in the university town of Xinpu New District, with a planned total area of 716 acres. The campus has a beautiful campus environment, tree-lined, and more than 650,000 books. The college currently has 459 faculty members, including 339 staff members, 93 dispatch staff members, and 27 temporary staff members. The teacher-student ratio is 17.7: 1, and the “dual teacher quality” accounts for 45% of full-time teachers. (Educational staff: Among the editors, 5 are doctoral students, 108 are postgraduates, 195 are undergraduates, and 31 are undergraduates.) Zunyi Vocational and Technical College is a member of Guizhou Tourism Vocational Education Group, Guizhou Computer and Network Vocational Education Group, Guizhou Electronic Application Technology Vocational Education Group, and Guizhou Agricultural Engineering Vocational Education Group. It has a modern agricultural technology training base of the Ministry of Agriculture, a public training base for high-skilled talents in Guizhou Province, a training center for motor vehicle maintenance practitioners in Zunyi City, a designated organization for entrepreneurship training in Zunyi City, a national vocational skill appraisal station for 247 special agricultural tasks, Guizhou The 99th National Vocational Skills Appraisal Office, National Computer Rank Examination 23 test sites, National English Application Proficiency Test Site, Zunyi City Accounting Practice Certificate Paperless Test Site, and other skills training and appraisal service institutions that meet the needs of social posts.
