Adjunct Faculty Position in Sport Management (In-person Teaching on Campus)

Position: Adjunct Faculty

Location: Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, China

The university invites applications for short-term instructors to teach undergraduate courses of Sport
 major in Fall 2024, in a joint program with a U.S. university. Candidates are expected to
provide in person lectures, interact with all students and grade all assignments as well as exams.

2. Sport Finance and Economics

3. NCAA Compliance & Institutional Control

4. Sport Publicity and Promotion

5. Fitness Management

6. Introduction to Exercise Science

7. Risk Management in Sports

8. Sport Facility and Event Management

9. Managerial Economics and Operational

10. Market Research

11. Psych and Social Dimensions of Sports

All the courses listed above will be
48-96 teaching hours in total, 8-10 weeks’ in-person teaching on campus, and all courses are planned to start between the period
of September, 2024 to December, 2024.


1. Master’s degree or above in Sport Management
field is required for undergraduate instruction;

2. Candidates who are working or graduated from institutions with higher US
NEWS ranking are preferred.

3. English native speaker is preferred;

4. Patient and enthusiastic for teaching with
high sense of responsibility;

5. More than 3 years’ teaching or training experience is preferred;

6. Understanding
American higher education system, test methods and requirements.

We will cover the expenses for the

1. Visa application (reimbursement);

2. Flights Purchase (from your location to the campus and
from the campus to your location);

3. Airport pick-up and drop-off service (from the landing Airport to the apartment, and from
the apartment to the departure Airport);

4. Accommodation during your teaching in China (on-campus);

5. Medical
Insurance during your teaching in China;

6. Guidance for your living in China: Clothing, Food, Transportation (China Bullet
Trains), Touring, Chinese Learning, etc.;

7. A Chinese teacher will co-work with you during your lectures, providing
necessary explanation and facilitate your teaching and interaction with the students.
