Job Summary

AECOM is seeking an Intern, Electrical to be based in Shanghai.

Responsibilities

• Design of Building Electrical drawings, including preliminary design drawings, construction drawings, fitting-out drawings, etc.

• Building Electrical system load calculation, building lightning protection calculation, vertical transportation (elevator) calculation, etc.

• Cooperating with architects to provide information for machine rooms, shafts, and openings of the slab and wall

• Cooperating with other MEP engineers (HVAC and PD Fire) for equipment power supply and distribution design

• Assisting in preparation of tender documents and tender evaluations

• Product catalogue collection and filing

• Problem solving during construction，assisting in design change document management

• Conducting on-site inspections (business trips may apply) in conjunction with project schedules

• Implementing ethics compliance policies, including third-party payments, subcontractor service processes, and gift and hospitality policies

• Enforce ethics and compliance policy including Third Party payment, Sub-consultancy engagement process and Gift and Entertainment policy

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in related fields such as building electrical, industrial automation or electrical automation

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in office applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Have the basic ability to operate CAD, Revit and other design software

• Have a positive work attitude, adaptable, and willing to face challenges

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, and team spirit

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
