Job Summary:
The main responsibilities are to take charge of assembly process, safety, productivity and quality improvement in assembly line by approaches focus on new manufacturing technology introduction & development. He/she can get self-fulfilment & make a great contribution to company management through optimization of assembly line & production system and support team’s competence shift toward F4T (factory for tomorrow, smart manufacturing direction).

Responsibilities:
– New Product development : follow NPD process

- Early involvement in DFA (manufacturing requirement raising etc. )
- EMOB (electric excavator) development involvement
- Layout design according to new product requirement
- Do cost analysis
- assembly process & equipment development
- Construct routing and manufacturing BOM (VPM, SAP, PLM)
- Manage pilot production (Workability & QDC)
- Implement pre-serial machine production
- Localization parts development support
-Quality improvement

- Process optimization: Problem solving, following product audit, fool proof installation etc.
- Field quality issues solving: support Quality department in troubleshooting
- Introducing advanced technology
– Production systems maintain & Productivity improvement on assembly line:

- Improve process and Layout to achieve sound LOB (line of balance);
- Workforce, facility and equipment study to achieve production capacity target
- Jig & fixture designing and improvement and mistake proof solutions development
- Assembly line logistics improvement
– Support daily production on problem solving
– ECN management in assembly process

- Issue solving and update work instruction
– introduce NMT (new manufacturing technology) approach and lead NMT projects to achieve above tasks and support the whole team’s competence shift towards F4T direction
– Other work assigned by supervisor
Interaction and Supervisory responsibility
- Internal: Assembly, Quality, Material mgt., Production planning, ALC, Finance, QES, Purchasing team, IPS, R&D, Global ME teams
- External: industrial manufacturing companies and equipment companies to introduce production equipment and new technology.
Key Skills:
- Good character & high competence
- Excellent problem-solving ability in the process of production activities
- With experience and knowledge on IIoT / XR/ robot etc.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Good computer skills, 3-D, 2-D CAD and Ms-office knowledge
Required knowledge & experience:
- university degree or above, major in mechanical or electric engineering
- Business oriented person with at least 5 years’ experience in manufacturing industry
- With experience in R&D is preferred
Sound English skills both written and spoken
