Job Description

Heyuan Polytechnic is a full-time regular higher education institution organized by the Heyuan Municipal People’s Government. It is a model higher vocational college in Guangdong Province and is located in Jiangdong New District, Heyuan City, Guangdong Province. At present, we are sincerely looking for a foreign English teacher to teach courses such as oral English, English writing, English culture and literature, etc.

I. Recruitment requirements and conditions

1. Obey the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, be in good health and have no criminal record.

2. Should have a bachelor’s degree and have more than 2 years of work experience in language education; those who have obtained a master’s degree or above and whose major matches the job requirements can be exempted from the work experience requirement; those who have obtained a master’s degree or above but have not studied If the major does not match the job requirements, the requirement for work experience can be exempted if a relevant professional qualification certificate that matches the job requirements is obtained.

3. In principle, applicants should be from English-speaking countries, and those from non-English-speaking countries must have a bachelor’s degree or above from a university in the English-speaking country. Possess a bachelor’s degree or above in education or teacher training, the requirement for work experience can be exempted; have a non-education bachelor’s degree or above and obtain a teacher qualification certificate from the host country, an international language teaching qualification certificate or a TEFL certificate recognized by the Guangdong Provincial Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs Yes, the work experience requirement may be waived.

II. Wages and subsidies

Annual income includes wages and allowances.

1. Salary: The salary of foreign teachers depends on their educational background and job responsibilities. According to the regulations of the Chinese government, winter and summer vacations and national statutory holidays are paid vacations.

2. Subsidy: If you have been teaching for one year and the teaching quality is satisfactory, you can reimburse the cross-border round-trip air ticket once a year (the round-trip air ticket should not exceed 6,000 yuan per year); if you teach for half a year, you can only reimburse the one-way air ticket, which must be reimbursed by the ticket. In addition, the school provides a monthly subsidy of 500 yuan for telephone bills, water and electricity bills, etc. If Party B does not renew the contract, a one-time travel subsidy of 1,200 yuan will be given after the contract expires; if Party B successfully renews the contract, the full salary will be paid during the holidays, and no travel subsidy will be given.

3. The school will purchase personal accident insurance for foreign teachers as required.

III. Accommodation

The school provides apartment accommodation, equipped with kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom, equipped with basic furniture and electrical appliances, including bed, desk, water heater, washing machine, induction cooker, air conditioner and Internet.

IV. Holiday break

Foreign teachers have the right to enjoy Chinese public holidays and winter and summer vacations stipulated by the school.
